Proper English Improves Results

If you want to get your site into the top results, then maybe you need to pay attention to your language.
According to a an article Google does pay attention to how you present your content (mentioned here) It's not merely a matter of writing "snappy" content, or relevant content with your keywords and phrases. The author, Joel Walsh, refers to this "filter" as "Google's Good Writing Content Filter" and though it may seem hard to believe at first the evidence is very powerful. A couple of salient points:
  • Spelling and grammar: few or no errors
  • Paragraphs: primarily brief (1-4 sentences). Few or no long blocks of text.
  • Sentence length: mostly brief (10 words or fewer).
