Chapter 2318 Greed Overtakes III

"Oh! This is bad. It has the same power level as that of Charon." Adrian thought as this undead was the real deal and it even rivaled Charon's strength.

Charon is mainly a supporter class of undead but the undead that the Jiangshi master created is for pure offense. The two large, clawed arms is something that can tear apart any being that dares go against it. Adrian could also see that the Jiangshi master sacrificed some of his life source in order to create such a powerful undead.

"Shi Shi! Kill all of them to make yourself stronger!" The Jiangshi master shouted.

"En en!" Shi Shi, the female Jiangshi, shouted with enthusiasm and charged towards High Wizard Dore.

Shi Shi easily passed through the chains that Charon created as if it has foresight. It would then use the large monstrous claws behind it to attack the barriers that the High Wizard Dore created. The fear and panic in the eyes of the merchants could be seen as they could see the barriers cracking with each attack of the undead.

"Since it has come to this then I shall also have my fun!" Murai shouted as he suddenly erupted in a red aura that smelled like blood.

The sword on Murai's hands suddenly changed as well as if it reacted to his change in aura. The blade that was sharp and clean suddenly transformed to have teeth. Each slice from his large sword would not only cut off the other party but also mutilate them in return. Piggy Bank noticed this aura change as well and he could feel that the NPC before him is not your normal bodyguard.

"Why are you doing this Lady Goldenclaw!?" The Vice Leader of the Merchant Guild asked but Lady Goldenclaw could be seen having a crazed look on her face.

Adrian's devious cat smile could be seen by all as his small body suddenly started to morph back to its original size. The look of disbelief on the faces of all the beings in that isolated room could be clearly seen. Some merchants that badmouthed him even fainted on the spot because they learned that the Lord of Avalon heard what all of them said.

"Let us start with an introduction then. Asmodian Prowess!" Adrian stated as a large dark throne materialized behind him as he sat down.

A powerful wave of energy swept across the entire room which dulled all their senses. The merchants, the bodyguards and even Lady Goldenclaw were affected by Adrian's increased presence. All of them bowed down or kneeled in front of the demon that transformed from a cat. Adrian casually sat down the throne without a care in the world as he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet all of you. I am Equinox. Mediator of Death and the Lord of Avalon." Adrian stated in a tone so imposing that even the Vice Leader of the Merchant guild that has is blessed by a god had his knees become weak.

"A demon!" Lady Goldenclaw stated in shock.

From the looks of things, the Primordial Beasts of Sin were not told of what happened in the western continent. If they were then the Primordial Beast of Greed would have relinquished control over Lady Goldenclaw's body. She was merely shocked by Adrian's sudden appearance, and it seems she only knows of him via the details given by the merchant guild.

"We greet the Lord of Avalon! It is impertinent to ask but please save us from the enemies of the guild." The Vice Leader of the Merchant Guild stated as he was the first to recover from the shock which is a testament to his willpower.
