Chapter 7472 (7472) Still Big
“Oh, so in this case, it doesn’t seem to make much difference whether I ask you for it or not,” the gray-handed man said with a smile.
The brown-handed man asked, "Why do you think the difference seems minimal?"
The gray-handed man laughed and said, "You yourself said you didn't intend to provide any evidence. Whether I ask or not, you won't provide any evidence. Does it really make a big difference whether I ask or not?"
“Still big,” said the brown-handed man.
"Why do you think it's still big under these circumstances?" the gray-handed man asked.
The brown-handed man laughed and said, "After all, I might change."
"It can change?" Grayhand said. "Explain how it could possibly change."
“Although I said I didn’t intend to provide evidence, I might change my mind if you ask me for it,” the brown-handed man laughed.
"Will you change this time?" the gray-handed man asked.
“I just said I might change, not that I definitely will,” the brown-handed man said.
"There's still no word on it, right?" Grayhand asked.
“Yes,” said the brown-handed man.
“But when I asked you if things would change this time, you didn’t answer me,” said the gray-handed man.
"I don't know how to answer you properly," said the brown-handed man.
“It’s very simple. If it can change, it can change; if it can’t change, it can’t change,” said the gray-handed man.
The brown-handed man laughed and said, "I have no idea."
The gray-handed man asked, "Haven't you decided yet?"
“Yes,” said the brown-handed man.
"So what's the situation now?" Grayhand asked.
“At this point, I have no intention of providing evidence,” the Brown-Handed Man said.
"Isn't that the same as nothing?" Grayhand asked.
“That’s how it is so far, but I can’t say for sure if things might suddenly change in the near future,” said the brown-handed man. The gray-handed man replied, “You haven’t changed at all.”
“Yes, but I only found out about that later,” said the Brown-Handed Man.
The gray-handed man laughed and said, "So, you're planning to change your mind now?"
“No plans,” the brown-handed man laughed.
The gray-handed man said, "After all this time, you still have no intention of changing."
"Are you looking forward to it?" the brown-handed man asked.
“No. I was just curious,” said the gray-handed man.
“Actually, I can’t tell that you expect me to change,” the brown-handed man said.
"That's good, I didn't expect anything. If you could tell I was expecting something, wouldn't that be strange?" Grayhand asked.
“What’s so strange about that?” the Brown-Handed Man asked.
"How come you sensed my expectation when I had no expectation?" the gray-handed man asked.
“That’s normal,” the brown-handed man said.
"What's normal?" the gray-handed man asked.
“It looks normal from any angle; there are all sorts of possibilities,” the brown-handed man laughed.
“For example, what possibilities could there be? You can tell me,” said the gray-handed man.
“Like when you tease me,” said the brown-handed man.
"This is just one possibility. Have you only come up with one possibility so far?" the Grayhand asked.
“No,” said the brown-handed man. “I’ve thought of quite a few possibilities.”
“At least name one more,” the gray-handed man said.
“Sure,” the brown-handed man chuckled. “Even when you’re not joking, I can still sense your expectation even when you have none. We’ve had similar situations many times when we worked for our masters, haven’t we? I mean, we didn’t do anything, but people could tell we did.”
“You said it yourself, that was back when we were working for the Master. Isn’t that too long ago? Things are different now,” the Gray-Handed Man said.
