Chapter 377 - 16: You’ll Definitely Get Pregnant
"I’ve said that for standard invitations, a letter should be sent first. The only exceptions are for those few individuals we’re keeping a close eye on, such as..."
"It’s a trusted attendant of the Little Queen."
Mephit answered directly, "It seems the invitation is from the Wind Law Queen."
Westheid stood upon hearing this and looked down from his balcony. There, he saw a Violet Elf beauty with an indecently voluptuous and captivating figure.
Amithren immediately glanced over as well, surprised.
"Lady Faticia?! Why is she..."
"She is..."
The Stringed Swordsman pursed her lips. "That’s Lady Faticia, a Tuner. She was formerly one of the Royal Court’s Tuning Officers. After Her Majesty Ailorus ascended the throne, she was transferred to the Queen’s side to serve as her spiritual guide. She is one of Her Majesty the Queen’s most trusted confidants."
"So it really is an invitation from the Wind Law Queen. Speak of the devil."
Westheid remembered this long, purple-haired beauty well. After all, it wasn’t often he met someone with a figure on par with Rozana’s.
In high spirits, he went downstairs to meet the Queen’s envoy.
"Duke Qinghui, good day."
Faticia was dressed in an elegant, long gown of intertwined purple and white, like the incarnation of lavender and white lilies. It clung tightly to the Elf beauty’s graceful, curvaceous figure. Her hands were demurely folded over her abdomen. Though the dress was exceedingly modest and revealed nothing, it was just tight enough to accentuate her physique, giving the impression of a deliberate seduction.
And yet, the face of this pulse-pounding beauty was both lovely and melancholic. Her eyes held the timid softness of a small animal, creating the most striking contrast.
"By order of Her Majesty, I have come to invite you to afternoon tea. We will also be discussing matters regarding the alliance."
The Purple-haired Elf beauty glanced up at Westheid, then immediately lowered her head shyly, letting out a soft whimper that didn’t match her apparent age.
"Since the Wind Law Queen has invited me, I naturally have no reason to refuse. Please, lead the way."
Westheid readily agreed and followed Faticia through the complex and labyrinthine structures of the Central Royal Court, arriving at the residence of the Royal Court’s master.
After passing through the heavily guarded outer perimeter, Westheid immediately spotted Ailorus crouching by a bed of flowers, delicately sniffing their fragrance.
"Ah! Duke Qinghui!"cv
The young Elf Queen heard the footsteps behind her. She immediately turned, clasping her hands behind her back, and smiled.
"And Faticia! Quick, come over here!"
Unlike the formal, magnificent attire she wore at their first meeting, Ailorus was now in casual, light everyday wear.
A soft, silky white garment, embroidered with gold thread, covered only her upper torso and the tops of her thighs. The accompanying shawl and sleeves were as light and thin as gauze.
Vast expanses of her snow-white, delicate skin—including her midriff, thighs, and arms—were exposed to the sun, shimmering with a dazzling light that nearly merged with the brilliant sunshine.
With a slight tilt of her head, her brilliant golden hair cascaded down like a waterfall. She wore a circlet woven from fresh white flowers on her head.
To be honest, despite how revealing the outfit was, Ailorus’s own youthful figure meant it couldn’t be described as "sexy" in the slightest. At most, she just looked pure and full of life.
But what her figure lacked, her beautiful face more than made up for.
Ailorus came running over with light, cheerful steps. Her face, so exquisite it was maddening, held a smile warm enough to melt the winter frost.
Just meeting her sacred, cyan eyes felt as if your very soul was being warmed by their hazy light.
"Your Majesty Ailorus..."
The Wind Law Queen cut off Westheid’s greeting. She circled around him, saying:
"Just call me Ailorus! We’re pretty much equals, right? I don’t like stuffy honorifics."
"I feel the same way. In that case, I’ll address you casually in private."
Ailorus nodded emphatically. "Mhm! Then I won’t call you Duke Qinghui anymore. How does just Westheid sound?"
After getting his affirmative reply, the Elf Lolita clapped her hands together and smiled.
"My apologies. I know I said I’d invite you, but it seemed you’ve been quite busy these last few days, Westheid. I wanted to give you more time to get familiar with the Thousand Laws Royal Court, so I only sent the invitation just now. Would you be willing to join me for afternoon tea? There’s a lot I’d like to ask you."
"Your Majesty! You must not! Absolutely not!"
Amithren was the first to step forward and object, her words fierce.
Ailorus tilted her head cutely.
"Why not? We’re just having some tea. We can’t even be alone together?"
"Because this man... this man..."
The Silver-haired Elf Knight was momentarily at a loss for words. She couldn’t possibly say that she had personally experienced Westheid’s... formidable skills, could she? Or that she couldn’t bear to see the Wind Law Queen fall into his trap as well? ’This pain and humiliation should be mine to bear alone! I absolutely cannot allow any more of my fellow Elves to fall into Westheid’s clutches! I’m terrified of Duke Qinghui’s large hands!’
After a moment of frantic thought, Amithren shut her eyes, stomped her foot, and exclaimed:
"You’ll get pregnant! If you stay with this man, you’ll definitely get pregnant!"
Westheid’s eyes widened. He hadn’t expected Amithren to be so blunt.
’Huh? Is this bitch really spreading rumors like that?’
’Who the hell did I get pregnant? I’d like to know!’
Ailorus pressed a finger to her lips to stifle a laugh. "I can understand your concern, given Westheid’s past reputation, but even so, surely the Duke isn’t *that* bad?"
Amithren threw caution to the wind. "He would! Even if he doesn’t make a move on Your Majesty for now, Lady Faticia absolutely won’t be able to escape!"
"Huh?!"
The violet-haired Elf beauty hadn’t expected the conversation to turn to her. Hearing Amithren’s sworn certainty, she took two fearful steps back and shot a panicked look at Westheid.
As if she had convinced even herself, Amithren adopted the air of a public servant devoted to the state.
"In any case, for the safety of Your Majesty and Lady Faticia, I do not recommend you meet privately with Duke Qinghui."
But while her words may have frightened Faticia, Ailorus wasn’t buying it at all. The Little Queen simply offered a small smile.
"It’s alright, Lord Amithren. You’re worrying too much. I trust Westheid’s character. Besides, the things you’re saying are both indecent and wildly exaggerated. It’s unbelievable. If Faticia is truly in danger, I will protect her."cv
"Lord Amithren, please go stand guard outside. Spreading baseless rumors about Westheid is not allowed, you know."
Her Majesty the Queen’s gentle words carried an implicit reprimand. The Stringed Swordsman immediately calmed down, no longer pressing her point. After a bow, she departed from the garden courtyard.
And so, only Westheid, Ailorus, and Faticia were left. They made their way to a round table beneath a gazebo and took their seats.
The purple-haired Elf Tuner poured tea for the Wind Law Queen and Duke Qinghui. Despite her best efforts to be reserved, an inescapable sensual grace emanated from her every move, making it incredibly difficult for Westheid to look away.
"Duke Qinghui."
Ailorus’s voice drew Westheid’s attention back to her. The Elf Lolita had her chin propped in her hands and was staring intently at Westheid. She laughed and said:
"It seems Lord Amithren has developed some trauma and a bit of a possessive streak regarding you. It’s only been a few days, and she’s already willing to defy me for your sake. It’s incredible... I remember Lord Amithren being such a prim and proper, old-fashioned person."
"Well..."
’My reputation’s been dragged through the mud,’ Westheid thought. ’Right off the bat, I’ve given the Wind Law Queen the impression that I’m a lecher, a Great Silver Demon. This is not going to help with my "conquest" later on.’
Just as he was pondering how to salvage the situation, he heard Ailorus’s laugh, like the chiming of a silver bell. She clapped her small hands and said:
"Impressive... So impressive! Doesn’t this just prove your Charm? From the video and audio records, I could never have imagined you’d be like this in person!"
’Huh? It seems this little Her Majesty isn’t wary at all. On the contrary, she seems even more... interested?’
