Chapter 94 Heroic Altar
Chapter 94 Heroic Altar
Qixinge, a level 18 Elemental Tower player, was a master of martial arts, with each step and punch landing with ease. The orc militia member Harley was no match for him and was quickly killed.
"I'm going to take on ten!"
Qixinger shouted as he fought ten human militiamen single-handedly, like a tiger among wolves, displaying superb fighting skills and winning easily.
With only seven or eight minutes left to plunder, this ruthless man stopped looking for the mobile storm and immediately plunged into the gold mine to begin plundering gold coins.
He moved quickly, opening the gold mine chests one by one. When he opened the last chest, he suddenly became alert and jumped back as if he had been electrocuted.
Click, click.
The treasure chest actually came to life; its lid opened and closed like a giant-mouthed monster.
"What is it?"
Zisinger was startled, only then realizing that it was actually a mimicry.
"Good heavens, we almost got tricked. How come there are so many rare things in this secret camp in Thunder Pool?"
Zisinger frowned, and then he fought the mimic monster until the looting time ended, and the two were still unable to determine a winner.
As Qixingge was forcibly teleported away, Lei Chi, who was in the Ancient Sanctuary, received a system notification: "Ding, your secret camp has been maliciously invaded by players. Losses reported: 43 gold coins lost, 10 militiamen killed, experience points wiped out, awaiting resurrection. Orc militiamen killed, level dropped by one, awaiting resurrection..."
"Can't the Mobile Storm take it?" Lei Chi thought to himself that Qi Xingge's strength was still a bit lacking.
"Ding, claim calculation in progress... Your claim amount is 100 gold coins, and your camp defense index is 675 (the minimum camp defense index during the invasion war). Based on the calculation, you will be awarded a claim chest worth 1605 gold coins. Would you like to claim it?"
"extract!"
"Ding! One insurance policy ensures the safety of the city. No fear of invasion, no worries about reconstruction. You have opened the claim treasure chest and obtained the following camp reconstruction materials: one Tier 1 Beast Tower construction blueprint, 300 gold coins, and the construction blueprint for the Heroic Altar (Rare)."
"The blueprints for the Altar of Valor?"
Lei Chi quickly took out a golden scroll from the compensation treasure chest.

Blueprint for the Altar of Valor: A special item, a custom-made exclusive item, worth 1295 gold coins. Use it to open up space and build an Altar of Valor in the militia training ground.
Heroic Altar: A special building, the Heroic Altar.
Function 1: Revive fallen units by consuming gold coins. The gold coins required to revive a fallen unit are (the fallen unit's health) coins.
Function 2: Consuming 1000 gold coins can upgrade camp units to [Hero]. After upgrading, their abilities will be enhanced, but currently the highest upgrade level for camp units is Bronze BOSS.
Note 1: Units that have died within the last 24 hours can only be resurrected at the Altar of Valor.
Note 2: After camp units are promoted to heroes at the Altar of Valor, they will gain six hidden equipment slots, allowing them to carry a maximum of six pieces of equipment (the equipment appearance will not be displayed). Players are encouraged to explore for details.

"This Altar of Valor only appeared because of Harley, right? The cost of resurrection is too high, who can afford to resurrect him..."
Lei Chi carefully put away the blueprint in his hand, then took out the construction blueprint for the Tier 1 Beast Tower from the compensation treasure chest. The blueprint immediately displayed its attributes upon acquisition: [Polar Bear Construction Blueprint].
According to the description in the blueprint, the first stage of the [Polar Bear] is a small polar bear. After killing 1,000 enemies, it can automatically advance to the second stage.
"Bears, cubs, polar bears, patting bears... I wonder how many more bear defense towers are left."
Lei Chi carefully put away the [Polar Bear Construction Blueprints], then brought up the Ancient Sanctuary information panel. With a few simple settings, the boulder blocking the cave entrance disappeared.
Moments later, the Altar of Heroes appeared in the militia training camp.
The altar resembles a small Mayan pyramid, measuring only 10 meters in length and width and three meters in height. Its style is quite simple, with an obelisk standing on top. The obelisk glows slightly and has a somewhat futuristic feel. The obelisk bears the two words: "Heroic".
As Lei Chi approached the obelisk, the altar information panel popped up, containing two main items: a list of resurrectable units and a job change panel.
In the resurrection list, the orc militiaman Harley is ranked first, followed by ten human militiamen. As long as they pay resurrection coins, they can be quickly resurrected at this altar.
However, they have the ability to resurrect themselves, so they don't need to spend money to revive.
As for the job change panel, Lei Chi studied it and it seems that Orc militia, Human militia, Skeleton Miners mining in gold mines, and SpongeBob SquarePants can all pay to change their job to Hero here. However, what attributes they will gain after changing jobs is currently unknown.
"The job change fee is too high, 1000 gold coins! If I had the money, I could change SpongeBob's job first, and the Skeleton Miner too. I wonder what new abilities he'd get after changing into a hero? Would collecting gold coins be more efficient?"
Lei Chi waited patiently for a while, and then he had some free time. He spent 100 gold coins to repurchase invasion insurance, adjusted the position of the Beast Tower, chatted in the chat group, and played some arena battles...
Time flew by, and just as the cooldown period for Lei Chi's secret camp was about to end, Lei Chi was lying on a deck chair drinking Fatty's Happy Water when a loud bang suddenly came from the sky, followed by the rapid appearance of dark clouds.
"Did something happen to your kidneys?"
Lei Chi looked up at the sky. In just a few seconds, dark clouds rolled in, and lightning flashed and thunder roared within them, creating a scene of impending doom.
"Ding! Warning! The god-level BOSS, the primordial dragon Drogengod, is about to pass through your secret camp. Please prepare your defenses!"
"The Dragon Treasure quest is here?"
Lei Chi was immediately jolted. He quickly got up and canceled the stealth state of all his defenses.
Three minutes later, the spacetime wormhole suddenly expanded, and then a jet-black dragon with a wingspan of over a hundred meters rushed out from it.
It was a skeletal dragon, its entire body emitting black smoke, with more than a dozen horns on its head, dark red light emanating from its eye sockets and chest cavity, and its bones covered with barbs, as if it were woven from jet-black steel thorns.
It flew at low altitude, gliding, with its huge dragon claws less than ten meters from the ground of the war corridor. The black smoke behind it was like a tattered cloak, as if a night had fallen, giving people a powerful sense of oppression.
"Woohoo!"
The dragon roared, louder than thunder in the sky.
"The Primordial Dragon, Drogengod, LV30, God-level creature, Armor 99, Magic Resistance 99, Health 2,999,623,144!"
Lei Chi could see the ancestral dragon's attribute information across the war corridor; its health bar was still full.
"Good heavens, it's here!"
Lei Chi knew that his own Beast Tower was definitely not enough to kill this god-level creature, but he was also looking forward to seeing how much health he could lose.
Soon, the ancestral dragon Drogengod flew out of Jingyang Ridge.
Despite being a divine being, it could not escape the custom level setting. Upon entering Jingyanggang, it disappeared from the war corridor and reappeared more than ten seconds later.
Then, the Saber-toothed Tiger roared, the Poor Ha unleashed a kinetic energy ray, the Thunder Lizard unleashed a lightning strike, and the Giant Rubber Duck spat out flames...
The Beast Tower of Leichi focused its fire with all its might, but the Primordial Dragon was simply too strong. The slowing effect was reduced by more than 80% on it. It was like a behemoth, not even glancing at the Beast Tower below, and leisurely gliding past.
"You little rascal, make your move!"
Lei Chi quickly moved the Black Lion Armor and the rubber band slingshot-equipped Little Monkey to the front.
The little monkey instantly transformed into a monstrous monkey, pulling the slingshot so fast it created afterimages. It attacked 20 times per second, seemingly powerful, but each attack only reduced the Primordial Dragon's health by two points, one point from physical damage and one point from magical damage.
Fifty seconds later, the little monkey had broken the rubber band slingshot, having already launched a thousand attacks and dealt 2000 points of damage to the Primordial Dragon!
