Chapter 7469 (7469) (Comparative)
“It’s not that it can’t be done,” said the brown-handed man.
"Is it that you don't want to? I'd like to ask you, are you going to make a decision now?" the gray-handed man asked.
The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Yes."
"Why did things change so quickly?" Grayhand asked.
“Because I want to change,” the brown-handed man laughed.
"Is it agreed that there will be an explanation, or no explanation?" Grayhand asked.
"No explanation needed," the brown-handed man laughed.
The gray-handed man laughed and said, "You change quickly, and you speak with great conviction."
The brown-handed man said, "Since things have changed and you've already made up your mind, why not be firm?"
The gray-handed man chuckled, "You didn't already plan not to explain, did you?"
The brown-handed man said, "No. The question is, would you believe me if I said that?"
The gray-handed man said, "I will believe you."
"And then what?" the brown-handed man asked.
"After that? What do you mean?" the gray-handed man asked.
"So, what do you need to do after you believe?" the brown-handed man asked.
The gray-handed man laughed and said, "I don't think I need to do anything. If you think I need to do something at this time, you can tell me."
The brown-handed man said, "I need your explanation."
"So it's my turn to explain?" the gray-handed man asked.
"It wouldn't exactly be considered 'becoming', would it?" the brown-handed man chuckled. "Isn't your explanation the most reasonable to begin with?"
"What's the reason?" the gray-handed man asked. "I won't give you a direct reason. I'll describe what happened just now, and you can see if your explanation is more reasonable," the brown-handed man laughed.
"More reasonable?" the gray-handed man asked. "Does your statement mean that your explanation is also reasonable, but you think mine is more reasonable?"
The brown-handed man laughed and said, "You're making a big deal out of another word I said?"
"You say I caught you using a word once and that's fine, but you're saying I'm 'making a big deal out of it'?" Grayhand laughed. "And you even said 'again'? Where did you make such a big fuss about it? It's like I just did something like 'making a big deal out of it'."
“Your writing is a big deal or a small deal,” said the brown-handed man. “I think it’s big, and I think it’s small.”
The gray-handed man laughed and said, "Is that all you think?"
“I’m saying what I think. You can say what you think,” said the Brown-Handed Man.
The gray-handed man said, "Forget it. I won't go through with what you said right now; I want to hear your account of what just happened."
“Alright,” the brown-handed man said with a smile. “Any other requests?”
"Why are you asking if I have any other requests? No," the gray-handed man said with a smile. "Just tell me."
“Just now I asked you what ‘the previous time’ meant, and you said to me in this tone: ‘What does it mean? Didn’t you know when you said it yourself?’” said the brown-handed man.
“You’re imitating again,” said the gray-handed man.
“Is it clear this way?” the brown-handed man asked.
“But you’re describing a narrative,” the gray-handed man said.
“I’m using imitation to narrate,” the brown-handed man chuckled. “There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?”
“Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that,” Grayhand said. “I’ll assume you’re just using imitation to tell the story. But you have to say what you’re trying to say, right? You’re not just imitating, are you?”
“I never said I was just imitating,” the brown-handed man laughed. “I haven’t even had a chance to say that yet.”
"Let's talk now, there's still time," the gray-handed man laughed.
The brown-handed man laughed and said, "The way you spoke to me just now clearly wasn't an explanation, was it?"
